You'll find sample tastings of Izumo soba, traditional Japanese sweets featuring relationship-fortune themes, and jade-bead accessories, all representing what makes Izumo special. Enjoy browsing and window shopping while savoring the lingering impressions of your shrine visit. Izumo soba is a specialty of this area, so a light tasting here is recommended. Since a fuller meal is planned at the Michi-no-Eki station later, it's best to keep food intake light here.

出雲神話まつりのフィナーレを飾る花火大会で、2026年8月22日(土)20時から40分間にわたって開催されます。会場は出雲市・大津神立河川敷公園で、夜空に次々と咲く花火を川べりから間近に見上げることができます。神話の国・出雲の夜、川面に映る光と音の響きが体に伝わる体感は、この場所ならではの迫力です。40分間のプログラムはフィナーレに向けて盛り上がりを増し、最後の連発で夜空が光に包まれる瞬間は、1日の旅の締めくくりにふさわしい感動があります。

荒天時の開催可否は出雲神話まつり実行委員会の公式発表で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路や駐車場が混雑します。帰りは少し余韻を楽しんでから移動する時間差帰宅がおすすめです。足元が暗い河川敷での移動はライトを活用し、安全に気をつけて。

Tips

The shopping street extends from the outside of the Seitoromari grand torii gate at Izumo Taisha and is within walking distance. Purchase souvenirs early and leave them at your accommodation or car to move about freely until evening. From late afternoon onward, the street becomes crowded with fireworks festival visitors.
