Festival Market houses many restaurants and souvenir shops, making it ideal for stopping by to enjoy lunch as well. On the day of the fireworks festival, congestion concentrates from evening onward, so it's recommended to enjoy the area leisurely during the early afternoon hours. From the observation wheel, you can see a panoramic view of Mikawa Bay and the Gamagori townscape, and you can also confirm this evening's fireworks venue in the daytime.

蒲郡まつりのクライマックスを飾る納涼花火大会で、2026年7月26日(日)19時30分から21時00分まで開催されます。竹島ふ頭周辺から打ち上げられる約5,000発は、三河湾の広い海面を舞台に色とりどりの大輪が次々と開きます。穏やかな内湾ならではの静けさの中で、花火の音が海面に反響し、水面に映る光の揺らぎも見どころのひとつです。正面に竹島のシルエットを配した夜景の中で鑑賞できる、蒲郡ならではのロケーションが魅力。フィナーレに向けて連発が続く終盤は、海と空を同時に埋め尽くす光の洪水が圧巻です。

Tips

荒天時の開催可否は蒲郡市または大会公式発表を事前に確認してください。終了後はJR蒲郡駅周辺が大変混み合います。フィナーレ後は少し時間をおいてから移動するか、時間差での帰宅が快適です。足元が暗くなるため、スマホのライトや小さなランタンがあると安心。帰りの電車の混雑に備えて、終電の時刻を事前に確認しておきましょう。

Tips

A free shuttle bus operates from the south exit of Gamagori Station (approximately 10 minutes required). Check the admission and attraction fee structure on the official website in advance. In summer, the sun is strong, so don't forget a hat and sunscreen. On the day of the fireworks festival, the parking lot becomes congested, so using public transportation is recommended.
