Michi no Eki Omokawa (道の駅思川), located in the southern part of Oyama City, is a popular local spot where agricultural products and processed goods from Tochigi Prefecture and Oyama City are abundantly available. Seasonal vegetables and fruits, sweets made with strawberries, Tochigi specialties like kanpyo (bottle gourd strips) and local sake—local flavors you can't find elsewhere are on display here. The food court also offers light meals made with local ingredients, which is perfect for satisfying your light hunger before the main fireworks event. It's also convenient for souvenir shopping, and if you don't want to increase your luggage on the return journey, purchasing small assortments here is efficient.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from Shiroyama Park. The parking lot is spacious, but congestion is expected from evening onwards on the day of the fireworks festival, making this order in the course the most optimal timing. Operating hours vary by facility, so check the official website before visiting.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes required. Early afternoon has less congestion, allowing you to browse leisurely.
