Spread across the hilly terrain of Motegi town, this nature park is loved by locals as a viewpoint overlooking the farmland along the Naka River and the surrounding mountains. Walking along the well-maintained trails, you can spend a relaxed time surrounded by the lush greenery typical of Tochigi's countryside, feeling the summer breeze and hearing the sound of insects. Experiencing the quiet nature of daytime Motegi before the evening bustle of the fireworks display adds a nice contrast to the day. The routes are mostly easy enough for small children, making it a place the whole family can enjoy at a relaxed pace.

Tips

About a 10-minute drive from Michi-no-Eki Motegi. Parking is available. The paving condition of the trails varies by location, so wear comfortable sneakers. Summer afternoons have strong sunlight, so don't forget sunscreen and something to drink. Allow plenty of time for the return trip to prepare for moving on to Mobility Resort Motegi.
