About this spot
The Yasu River riverbed that serves as the launch venue for the Koka-ryu Ninnin Grand Fireworks. The area around Minakuchi Bridge has a wide river channel with spacious viewing areas along the embankment. In the evening, the breeze that sweeps along the river is refreshing, and it's a beautiful time with the sunset-tinted river surface and the ridgelines of surrounding mountains. It's important to arrive early for spot selection—arriving around 5 PM allows you to spread your mat with relative ease. During the time before the show, lay out the light snacks you brought and slowly enjoy the view of the river's flow.

2026年7月25日(土)19時45分から20時15分まで、野洲川河川敷の水口橋周辺を舞台に約3,000発が打ち上げられます。甲賀流にんにん大花火は忍者の里・甲賀市を代表する夏の風物詩で、野洲川の広い川幅を生かした開放的な観覧環境が魅力です。川面に映る花火の光と、山あいに響く打ち上げ音が、河川敷観覧ならではの臨場感を生み出します。30分間に凝縮された約3,000発は次々と夜空を彩り、地域の夏を締めくくるにふさわしいクライマックスです。
Tips
荒天時の開催可否は甲賀市の公式発表で事前に確認しましょう。終了後は周辺道路が混雑するため、河川敷で余韻を楽しんでから時間差での移動がおすすめです。川沿いは終了後も足元が暗いため、スマホのライトで足元を照らしながら安全に移動してください。
Tips
Surrounding roads will be congested on fireworks day, so consider securing parking early at the roadside station. Along the river, insects increase from evening onward, so apply insect repellent beforehand. Temporary restrooms will be set up, but they may form long lines, so use them early. To avoid return traffic congestion, it's recommended to wait on the riverbed for a while after the show ends before moving.
