越前市サマーフェスティバル花火大会は、毎年8月15日に日野川河川緑地公園で開催される北陸を代表する夏の花火大会です。約14,000発という圧倒的な打ち上げ数を誇り、スターマインや大玉の連発が日野川の夜空を豪快に彩ります。川幅を生かした横開きの仕掛けや、水面近くで開く花火は迫力満点で、子どもから大人まで歓声が絶えません。終盤のフィナーレに向けて打ち上げのテンポが上がり、川と山と空が丸ごと光に包まれる瞬間はこの大会最大の見せ場です。お盆の夜に家族で囲む、忘れられない夏の一夜になるでしょう。

荒天の場合は中止または延期になることがあるため、当日の開催情報は越前市の公式発表で確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路が大変混み合います。車の場合は花火終了後しばらく会場付近で過ごしてから移動するか、時間差での出発がおすすめです。帰り道の河川敷は照明が少ないため、小さなライトやスマホのライトで足元を確認しながら歩きましょう。

The parking lot often reaches capacity on the evening of the fireworks festival, so consider arriving early or using public transportation.
