Arriving at the venue in the evening, spreading out your leisure sheet, and waiting for the show to begin while feeling the sea breeze blowing in from the Sea of Japan offers a luxurious moment unique to seaside fireworks displays. As the sun sets, the fishing port's sky transitions from orange to deep indigo, and your anticipation for the fireworks naturally builds. Parking lots around the venue tend to fill up early on the fireworks festival day. Arriving about 1 to 2 hours before opening makes it easier to secure a good viewing spot.
