Mishima Green Bay Walk is a promenade area developed along the Hakata Bay coastline near Kashiihama, and it is the main venue for tonight's fireworks festival. Since spectators begin gathering from the evening, arriving during this time lets you secure a relatively good spot. Settle down by the sea, spread out the dinner you bought, and enjoy the sunset over Hakata Bay and the sky's ever-changing colors. Spring nights can turn cool, so it's reassuring to have something to put on ready from this time. Checking the location of the restrooms early also means you won't have to rush once the show begins.

Tips

Traffic restrictions may be in place around the venue from the evening on the day of the fireworks. Arriving by public transportation is recommended. Travel by bus or on foot from Kashii Station on the JR Kagoshima Main Line or the Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line. Nearby parking lots fill up early. Temporary restrooms are set up at the venue, but they get long lines before the show starts, so it's best to use them early.
