The Inawashiro Autumn Festival Fireworks is a major summer event in which about 7,500 fireworks color the night sky over Inawashiro. Launched from the venue at Inawashiro Town Sports Park, the fireworks rise amid a grand setting overlooking Mount Bandai, and the sound echoing through the mountains is exceptionally powerful. Being able to relax on the spacious lawn and gaze up at the night sky is a charm unique to Inawashiro, not found at a city fireworks display. On a summer night, the scenery woven together by Mount Bandai's silhouette and the great blooming fireworks makes for a sight befitting the climax of this one-day trip.
