Arriving in the evening, spreading out your leisure sheet, and sharing the dinner you procured with your family while waiting for the show to begin is the first half of the fireworks festival's enjoyment. As the sun descends, the river surface transforms from golden to indigo, and this twilight view offers a sense of scale rarely experienced at urban fireworks festivals.
