Facing Nagasaki Harbor, this park with its expansive lawn and green spaces serves as the main viewing venue for the Nagasaki Minato Festival fireworks. The lawn area is spacious, allowing you to spread out a leisure sheet and wait comfortably for the fireworks. During the day, the harbor breeze is refreshing, and as dusk approaches, Nagasaki Harbor's water surface turns orange, heightening the anticipation as you wait for the fireworks. Food stalls and vendors are also present, so you can purchase additional beverages or evening snacks. Spread out your sheet with family and enjoy the harbor night view while waiting for the performance to begin.

Tips

Approximately 5-10 minutes on foot from Dejima Wharf. On fireworks festival day, space reservation begins early, so plan to arrive around 6 PM. The lawn is large, so you'll have good views of the fireworks even from farther back areas, though closer to the water provides more excitement. Check the locations of nearby public restrooms upon entering.
