全国新作花火チャレンジカップは、全国各地の花火師が新しいアイデアと技術で制作した新作花火を競い合うコンクール形式の花火大会です。既存の定番花火にとらわれない、創造性豊かな花火が次々と諏訪湖の夜空に打ち上がります。標高759mに位置する諏訪湖は盆地に囲まれており、周囲の山々に音が反響する迫力ある音響体験も魅力のひとつ。湖面に映る逆さ花火の美しさも、内陸の湖ならではの見どころです。2026年の予選は9月5日・12日・19日・26日の全4回が予定されており、毎週末に新たな花火師の挑戦を見ることができます。
Tips
開催時間は事前に公式情報で必ず確認してください(時間未定のため)。荒天時の開催可否も公式発表を確認しましょう。終了後はJR上諏訪駅への道が非常に混み合うため、湖畔でしばらく余韻を楽しんでからの時間差帰宅がおすすめです。9月の諏訪湖畔の夜は気温が下がるため、必ず防寒の羽織ものを用意してください。
Tips
About 5-7 minutes walk from JR Kaminosuwa Station, located along the lakeside promenade. Admission is around 1,000 yen for adults (check official website for current rates). The museum shop also has small postcards and posters as souvenirs. Enter with plenty of time before closing.
Best time to visit
Approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. The calm afternoon time is perfect for a rest before the fireworks.
