Jonokoshi Wharf (城之腰埠頭) in Yaizu Port Shinko is the main viewing area for the Yaizu Marine Fireworks Festival. Secure your spot early in the evening and spread out an early dinner prepared in advance while waiting for the show to begin. Fishing boats come and go in the port, and as the sun sets, the sky and sea are bathed in orange hues—a special time before the fireworks. Since the seaside in October becomes cold rapidly after sunset, be sure to dress warmly in protective clothing at this point. While food stalls may be available, it's safer to prepare meals in advance to account for the crowds.

Tips
荒天時の開催可否は焼津市の公式発表で必ず確認してください。終了後は会場周辺の道路や公共交通機関が大変混雑します。フィナーレ後はすぐに移動せず、埠頭で少し余韻を楽しんでから時間差で帰路につくと混雑を避けやすいです。10月の夜の気温は低いため、終了後の防寒は万全に整えてください。
Tips
Traffic restrictions may be implemented around the venue starting from the evening of the fireworks day. Plan to use public transportation or travel by car before the restrictions take effect. Restrooms in temporary facilities at the venue tend to get crowded, so it's strongly recommended to use them early. Cold-weather clothing and blankets are essential.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours required. The port's sunset view around dusk is beautiful, and anticipation for the fireworks is heightened during this time period.
