About this spot

A roadside station located on the shores of Togo Lake, serving as the local hub where you'll find agricultural products and processed foods from Yurihama Town. Tottori Prefecture is renowned nationwide as a pear-growing region, and in summer, fresh seasonal fruits begin to appear before the harvest of Nijisseiki (20th Century) pears. Abundant summer fruits like watermelons and melons are available, with convenient cut-portion sales perfect for snacking while walking. Local sweets, pickles, and processed seafood products are also well-stocked, making souvenir shopping easy. On the day of the fireworks festival, the surrounding area becomes crowded after evening, so it's wise to purchase souvenirs during this time.

Tips

Approximately 5 minutes by car from JR Matsuzaki Station (松崎駅), and easily accessible via the Togo Lake shoreline from within Yurihama Town. The parking lot is spacious. A light food corner is available, so you can grab part of your lunch here. Loading souvenirs into your car early will allow you to move freely through the evening.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour 15 minutes required. Mid-day hours are relatively uncrowded, allowing you to browse the shops at a leisurely pace.
