A prefectural comprehensive park adjacent to Tottori Sand Dunes and the venue for the Summer Festival Fireworks. Vast grassy open spaces spread out, with play equipment areas and cycling courses. Arriving in the evening and spreading a leisure sheet on the grass allows you to relax and wait for the show to begin while watching the sunset over the dunes. Food stalls and vendors line the summer festival grounds, making the atmosphere lively as you wait for nightfall—the waiting itself becomes part of the fun. The spacious park allows children room to run around and play, an advantage unique to this venue.

Tips

A few minutes by car from Tottori Sand Dunes; accessible by public bus from central Tottori as well. Parking will be congested on the day of the fireworks festival, so arriving early is recommended. Better viewing spots fill up early, so aim to arrive around 5 PM. Note the location of restrooms upon entry for peace of mind.

Best time to visit

Approximately 2 hours 15 minutes required. Enjoy the changing colors of the sky over the dunes from dusk through the show's start.
