About this spot
A small lighthouse standing on a cape at the southwestern tip of the Shima Peninsula (志摩半島), reachable on foot from the village of Goza (御座). From around the lighthouse the Pacific can be seen all around, making it a superb viewpoint where you can really feel the expanse of the sea you are about to swim in. Being able to take your time without worrying about crowds is another appeal, and it is perfect for a family stroll in the clear morning air with the sea breeze on your face. The footing around the lighthouse is uneven in places, so holding a small child's hand is reassuring. As a warm-up before sea bathing, enjoy the scenery while getting your body moving.

志摩市御座に広がる、真っ白な砂浜が印象的な海水浴場です。2026年は7月1日(水)から8月31日(月)まで開設され、遊泳は無料で楽しめます。トイレも無料で利用でき、砂浜には海の家が約7件並ぶので、食事や日よけの確保に困りません。志摩半島の先端らしい澄んだ海と開放感のある景色は、都会の喧騒を忘れてのんびり過ごすのにぴったり。波打ち際での水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、夕方まで思いきり夏を満喫できます。
Tips
シャワーと駐車場は民営が複数あり、いずれも有料です。利用前に料金や場所を確認しておくとスムーズ。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダルは必携です。着替えの時間も見込んで、余裕をもって切り上げましょう。
Tips
Within walking distance of the village of Goza (御座). There is little to block the sun, so do not forget a hat and drinks. Easy-to-walk shoes are recommended.
