This beach, spreading out in Goza, Shima City, is notable for its striking, pure white sand. In 2026 it will be open from Wednesday, July 1 to Monday, August 31, and swimming is free. Restrooms are also free to use, and about seven beach huts line the sand, so you won't have trouble finding food or shade. The clear sea and open scenery, so characteristic of the tip of the Shima Peninsula, is perfect for relaxing and forgetting the bustle of the city. From splashing in the shallows to building sandcastles, you can fully enjoy summer here until evening.

There are several privately run showers and parking lots, all of which charge a fee. Checking the prices and locations beforehand will make things go smoothly. The sand gets hot in summer, so beach sandals are a must. Factor in time to change clothes and wrap up with some time to spare.

Best time to visit

The afternoon from just after 1 pm has steady sunshine, giving you plenty of time to swim until evening.
