A strolling pond-garden located west of Himeji Castle (姫路城). Based on the residential layout from the Edo period, nine gardens with different characteristics have been created. You can stroll leisurely while passing white-walled earthen walls, artificial hills, waterfalls, and ponds. The garden interior, surrounded by green trees and the sound of water, remains relatively cool even in mid-summer, making it a precious rest spot. It's a perfect-sized space for families to take a breather before enjoying the pool to the fullest.

姫路セントラルパーク内にある屋外レジャープール「アクエリア」です。2026年は7月11日(土)・12日(日)、そして7月18日(土)から8月31日(月)まで営業し、営業時間は10:00〜17:00(土日祝は20:00まで)。流水プールでは浮き輪に揺られてゆったりと流され、波のプールでは繰り返し押し寄せる波に家族で歓声を上げられます。複数あるウォータースライダーは小学生から大人まで楽しめるスリル満点のアトラクションで、水深の浅いキッズプールがあるため小さな子連れでも安心です。プール料金は入園料金に含まれているため、当日は追加のプール専用チケットを気にせず、夕方までたっぷり水遊びを楽しめます。

Tips

期間中は一部休場日があり、9月は土日祝のみの営業となるため、来園前に公式サイトの営業カレンダーを確認しておくと安心です。プールサイドの場所取りは入場後すぐに行うのがおすすめ。売店もあるので昼食や飲み物は園内で調達できます。日差しが強い時間帯が続くため、日焼け止めの塗り直しと小まめな水分補給を心がけましょう。

Tips

A combination ticket with Himeji Castle is a good value. There is also a Japanese-style café in the garden, convenient for light refreshments and beverage refills. While many garden paths are passable with a stroller, some have stone steps and stepping stones, so comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
