Hama-no-Miya Beach (浜の宮ビーチ) in Wakayama City opens from July 1 (Wed) to August 31 (Mon) in 2026. Swimming is free, and the beach is equipped with changing lockers, showers (fee, seasonal), three restrooms, as well as AED installations and a resident nurse, making it safe and comfortable even for families with young children. Located in a calm inlet of Wakanoura Bay with relatively gentle waves—a great point for families. On the sandy beach, you can enjoy everything from water play at the shoreline to sandcastle building until evening.
