About this spot

A corner in the area just past the entrance gate of Tobu Zoo (東武動物公園), where you can interact with small animals such as rabbits and guinea pigs. In the cool hours right after opening the animals are relatively calm, so even small children can meet them up close with peace of mind. There are also time slots for holding and brushing experiences, making it an especially popular spot for children who love animals. Spending the start of the day calmly also conserves energy for the attractions and the pool that follow.

Tips

It is an area you can enter with the combined park admission and pool entry ticket, so no extra fee is needed. It is relatively empty right after opening, so stopping by first thing in the morning is recommended. In summer, the animals are also more active in the morning before the sun gets strong.

Best time to visit

About 30 to 40 minutes. The cool hours right after opening are comfortable for animals and visitors alike
