A vast prefectural natural park extending into Izumi Ward, Sendai City (仙台市泉区), with walking paths and plazas laid out among rich mixed woodland. Its appeal is that admission is free and you can drop in casually, and walking during the cool morning hours wraps you in the scent of the forest and birdsong, letting you start the day pleasantly. From the observation plaza you can look out over the surrounding mountains, and a characteristic feature is that the tree shade stays cool and comfortable even in summer. It is perfect as a time for the family to get close to nature at a leisurely pace before working the body hard at the pool.

宮城県黒川郡大和町にある屋外レジャープールで、2026年は7月4日(土)から8月23日(日)まで営業しています(営業日は7/4・5・11・12日と7/18〜8/23)。ウォータースライダーが2基設置されており、小学生から大人まで爽快感を楽しめます。小さな子ども連れには水深の浅い幼児用プールが安心で、家族全員がそれぞれのペースで水遊びを満喫できます。更衣室とシャワーが完備されているため、荷物を最小限に身軽に楽しめるのも魅力です。営業時間は9:00〜16:00で、午後は日差しが和らぐ時間帯まで遊べます。地元ファミリーに親しまれてきた、夏の定番おでかけスポットです。

Tips

料金は大人(中学生以上)2,200円、子供(3歳〜小学生)1,500円で、支払いは現金のみなので事前に用意しておきましょう。営業日が限定されているため、訪問前に必ず公式サイトで開催日を確認してください。日焼け止めはこまめに塗り直すのがおすすめです。
