About this spot

An outdoor leisure pool facility within Kenminkoen Taikoyama Land in Imizu City, Toyama Prefecture, operating from July 18 (Saturday) to August 23 (Sunday) 2026. In the wave pool, everyone cheers as waves roll in regularly, and in the current pool, you can simply float along in an inner tube and enjoy yourself. With a total of 8 types of pools—from shallow pools for small children to pools that adults enjoy—families can spend time at their own pace. Being located within the lush Kenminkoen, the pool area is surrounded by many trees, and it's easy to find resting spots. Changing rooms, showers, and restrooms are fully equipped, so you can spend the day without worrying about changing clothes. Operating hours are 9 AM to 6 PM, but swimming is only until 5:30 PM, so please allow enough time before leaving.

Tips

Admission is ¥1,440 for general admission (students included), ¥1,020 for high school students, ¥440 for elementary and middle school students, and ¥130 for children ages 4 and up. Sun exposure is strong during the day, so sunscreen and a hat are essential. Lockers may be fee-based, so it's smart to bring small coins. Since swimming ends at 5:30 PM, plan to start wrapping up and changing around 5 PM to do so smoothly.

Best time to visit

If you enter at noon, you can secure a spot before the afternoon rush peaks and enjoy water play for about 5 hours until evening.
