A charming street with white-walled merchant houses remaining in the Murozumi district, which prospered from the Edo through Meiji periods through merchant shipping. Simply strolling and taking in the old town scenery provides travel ambiance, and you can enjoy Seto Inland Sea seafood and set meals at local restaurants. Fill up properly before swimming at Niji Hama and prepare for the afternoon. The atmosphere is fresh for children too, a spot where you can enjoy both historical exploration and dining at once.

Tips

Within walking distance from Fugen-ji Temple. Store hours may change during summer vacation, so it's best to choose a restaurant that's open. Be careful not to overeat before swimming.
