About this spot

A locally popular park in the Tatara area of Yamaguchi City, with the main attraction being a long roller slide that uses the hillside slope. Your body will warm up nicely from morning as you repeatedly climb and slide down. There's also a grassy plaza where small children can enjoy ball play and tag. From the open viewpoint, you can see the surrounding greenery, raising anticipation for the day ahead. This is an ideal warm-up duration before the pool.

Tips

Parking is free, but weekend mornings can get crowded with families from nearby areas. Since the slide builds up speed, it's safer for small children if a parent goes down first and catches them at the bottom. Summer sun is strong, so bring a hat and drinks.

Best time to visit

Approximately 1 hour required. Late morning before the temperature peaks is most comfortable for energy levels.
