Located within Yonezawa Sogo Park (米沢総合公園), this full-fledged outdoor leisure pool will be open in 2026 from Saturday, June 20 to Monday, August 31. In addition to a certified 50m pool (9 lanes) and 25m pool (7 lanes) and a certified diving pool, there's also a toddler pool for young children, so everyone in the family can enjoy it at their own level. Hours are 9:00 am-5:00 pm, but from July 20 to August 20, the 50m pool alone extends its hours into the evening until 8:00 pm. It's a versatile facility that accommodates both serious swimmers and families focused on water play. Surrounded by the greenery of Yonezawa Sogo Park, it's a great place to spend a relaxing summer day.

Admission is affordable at 330 yen for adults, 220 yen for high school students, and 110 yen for junior high school students and younger, making it easy to buy same-day tickets. Since it's a certified pool, the swimming lanes and play areas are separated, so families with small children can feel at ease staying around the toddler pool. There are times when shade is limited, so sunscreen and a hat are essential. Stay hydrated regularly and enjoy the pool at a comfortable pace until closing time in the evening.

Best time to visit

Entering at noon lets you secure a spot before the midday crowd peak, giving you a full 5 hours to play until closing at 5 pm.
