Its appeal lies in the shallow, gently sloping sandy shore with calm waves, which lets families with small children play safely at the water's edge. The management building operates in July and August, and 150 parking spaces are available at Nishihama (西浜), making it convenient to visit by car as well. Swimming is free, so bring a float or beach ball and enjoy the sea without worry. From splashing at the water's edge to building sandcastles, soak up the Seto Inland Sea in summer well into the evening.

Tips

Best time to visit
In the afternoon, past 1pm, the sunlight softens a bit, giving you plenty of time to swim through the evening.
