Make the most of the lazy river and slide pool until evening

About this spot

An outdoor leisure pool in Fukuyama City (福山市), open in 2026 from Saturday 27 June to Monday 31 August. The 100 m by 7 m lazy river feels wonderful even if you simply let the current carry you, while the 25 m pool lets stronger swimmers work properly. The 8 m-high slide pool is the centrepiece here, popular for the exhilaration of a fast ride down. For small children there is a toddlers' pool, shallow enough to let them play safely. From 20 July to 19 August there are also evening sessions (17:30 to 20:25), opening up the option of a cool evening swim. Admission is affordable at 310 yen for junior high age and above, 200 yen for ages 3 to elementary school, and free for age 2 and under, so the whole family can use it easily.

Tips

Payment is cash only, so having notes and coins ready in advance keeps entry smooth. Coin lockers are available for 100 yen. The daytime sun is strong, so sunscreen, a hat and a parasol are recommended. On evening-session days you can also plan to re-enter later once it cools down.

Best time to visit

Arriving at 12:00 secures a spot before the peak crowd and gives you a full four hours or more until closing at 16:25
