The sandy beach, protected by the calm waves of Mikawa Bay, has a relaxed atmosphere perfect for small children to enjoy water play at the water's edge. It's an ideal finale after visiting Takeshima and the aquarium in the morning and savoring local seafood at lunch, offering an open and liberating setting. Whether you spend time leisurely on the sand, build sandcastles at the water's edge, or anything in between, every family member can savor summer at their own pace.

Tips

Summer sand gets extremely hot during the day, so be sure to bring beach sandals. Having a parasol or tent for shade makes it more comfortable for extended stays. On busy weekends, parking can fill up quickly, so arrive with extra time to spare.

Best time to visit

Afternoon from 1 p.m. onward has slightly softer sunlight and allows ample enjoyment until evening.
