An outdoor leisure pool inside Japan Monkey Park (日本モンキーパーク), open in 2026 from Saturday 4 July to Wednesday 23 September, a public holiday. With a shallow pool, small children can start playing in the water with peace of mind. The several water slides are popular attractions that excite everyone from elementary schoolers to adults, with an exhilaration that makes you want to ride again and again. Changing rooms, hot showers, spin dryers and even a first-aid room are provided, so changing and any unexpected injuries can be handled with confidence. Enter just after midday, once you have finished sampling street food in the Inuyama castle town (犬山城下町), and enjoy the water to the full until closing in the evening.

Tips

Pool admission (age 2 and over) is 1,000 yen on weekdays and 1,200 yen at weekends and on public holidays (1,400 yen from 13 to 15 August), and amusement park admission is charged separately. It opens only at weekends in July, daily in August, and only at weekends and on public holidays in September, so check the opening dates before you visit. Hours are relatively short at 9:30 to 16:00, so packing your things in advance and changing into swimwear as soon as you arrive secures more playing time.

Best time to visit

Arriving at 12:00 lets you switch straight over after the street food and gives you a full four hours until closing at 16:00
