About this spot
Open in 2026 from Saturday, July 4 through Sunday, September 27, this is the flagship outdoor leisure pool of Tokyo Summerland (東京サマーランド) in Akiruno City. The roughly 650m-long lazy river “Great Journey” (グレートジャーニー) is plenty fun just floating along on an inner tube, and the multiple water slides bring screams and smiles from elementary schoolers to adults alike. Changing rooms are fully equipped too, so as long as you bring your change of clothes, you can enjoy it almost hands-free — a point families will appreciate. In late September, the pool operates mainly on weekends with some closed days, so checking the schedule before your visit is essential. From noon to evening, this is the climax of the day, letting you fully enjoy water play.
