A beach located in Miyata, Kuratake Town, Amakusa City, Kumamoto, opening from June 28 (Sunday) to August 31 (Monday) 2026. Characterized by calm sea facing Amakusa's cove, waves don't get too high, making it easy to play even with small children. The ship-shaped administrative building is equipped with changing rooms, showers, and restrooms, so changing clothes and resting after water play is comfortable. Swimming is free to enjoy. With 150 free parking spaces, visiting by car is convenient. From shoreline water play to sand play, fully enjoy Amakusa's ocean until evening.

Tips
150 free parking spaces available. The ship-shaped administrative building has changing rooms, showers, and restrooms, so minimal luggage for changing is fine. Swimming is free, but bringing your own parasol or tent to avoid sun is recommended. Beach sandals are helpful as the sand can get very hot.
Best time to visit
From 1 PM onwards, the sun is stable, and you can enjoy plenty of swimming time until evening.
