The observation deck on the roof of Aso Kumamoto Airport is a free spot with close views of the runway. With planes constantly taking off and landing before your eyes, it's especially popular with children who love aircraft. There are covered benches, and in the cool morning hours you can relax without worrying about heat. Located right near the pool venue, it's a perfect distance for a morning visit.

阿蘇熊本空港ホテル エミナースの屋外レジャープールは、2026年は7月11日(土)から9月23日(水・祝)まで営業します。ウォータースライダーは2種類あり、スリル満点の滑走を楽しめます。流水プールはぷかぷかと浮き輪で流されるだけでも心地よく、小さな子から大人まで長時間遊べる人気エリアです。水上アトラクションも用意されており、遊び方のバリエーションが豊富。園内にはキッチンカーが出店しているので、お腹が空いたらすぐに軽食をとれるのも家族連れにうれしいポイントです。
Tips
料金は大人(中学生以上)2,000円、小学生1,300〜1,500円、幼児(3歳以上)600〜1,000円で、スライダーなどのアトラクションは別途料金がかかります。営業時間は基本10時〜20時ですが、土日祝や8月10日〜15日は21時までと日により異なるため、来場前に公式サイトで当日の時間を確認しておくと安心です。プールサイドの場所取りは入場後すぐに済ませておくとゆったり過ごせます。
Tips
Summer vacation mornings can be crowded with families, so arriving early after opening is ideal. The deck is outdoors, so visiting in the cool morning hours before heat builds is comfortable.
