This highway oasis attached to the Tokumitsu Parking Area on the Hokuriku Expressway has eateries and a sales area stocked with Ishikawa Prefecture souvenirs. The inbound and outbound sides are connected by the pedestrian overpass Love Bridge Matto (Love Bridge Matto), and you can walk to the lawn plaza and large combination play structure of the neighboring Matto Kaihin Park (Matto Beach Park) without leaving the expressway. Since Tokumitsu Beach is just beyond the park, you can take a morning break here while getting an early look at the sea you'll be heading to. It's a nice starting point to ease into a family day.

Tips

It's easy to stop by, just a few minutes' drive from Tokumitsu Beach. The Ferris wheel charges a fee, so having some coins ready helps things go smoothly. Early in the morning it tends to be relatively uncrowded, so you can ride without waiting.
