About this spot

A pine-lined road that runs along the Oiso coastline. Known since the Edo period as a scenic spot along the Tokaido, it's a pleasant walking path shaded by lush pine trees and cooled by the sea breeze. As you walk, you can take in views of Sagami Bay, naturally building anticipation for the pool ahead. With plenty of shade, it's relatively easy to walk even under the summer sun, a welcome bonus. Even a short stretch lets you fully soak up the atmosphere of this seaside town.

Tips

The path is well maintained, so strollers have no trouble here. Even with plenty of shade, don't forget a hat and something to drink. It's also just the right distance for a bit of light exercise before entering the pool.
