いわき市・薄磯地区にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月16日(日)まで、9時から16時まで開設されます。遊泳は無料で、砂浜には海の家が1軒あり、公衆トイレと仮設トイレ、足洗いシャワーが3ヶ所整備されているほか、監視救護所も設置され、小さな子ども連れでも安心して過ごせます。すぐそばには白い塩屋埼灯台が見え、午前中に上った灯台からの眺めを思い出しながら泳げるのもこの海水浴場ならではの楽しみです。駐車場は約350台分が無料で用意されており、車でのアクセスもしやすい立地です。波打ち際での水遊びから砂のお城づくりまで、営業終了の16時まで思いきり夏を満喫しましょう。

駐車場は約350台分が無料。海の家のシャワーは1分100円なので、海水浴後の小銭を用意しておくと安心です。足洗いシャワーは3ヶ所あるので、混雑状況を見て利用しましょう。営業終了は16時なので、着替えの時間も見込んで15分前には切り上げるのがおすすめです。

Tips

Within walking distance of Usui Kasumiura Beach. The spiral staircase inside is narrow; hold young children's hands while climbing. An admission fee applies. The observation deck can be windy, so secure hats to prevent them from blowing away.
