A small hall standing on a high promontory jutting into the sea, right beside Hisanohamanoto Namitachi Beach. From the grounds, you can take in a sweeping view of Namitachi Coast's blue sea and rock formations—a perfect vantage point to preview the sea you'll swim in, ideal for the day's introduction. Locally revered as a place watching over sea safety, it's recommended to have the family pay respects for a safe day before heading to the beach. The compact grounds make it easy to stop by even for a short time.

いわき市久之浜町にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月18日(土)から8月16日(日)まで、9時から16時まで開設されます。遊泳は無料で、駐車場も約100台分無料と、車で訪れるファミリーに使いやすい環境が整っています。公衆トイレに加えて仮設トイレ、シャワー兼更衣室が2ヶ所設けられ、監視救護所も配置されているため、小さな子ども連れでも安心して過ごせます。海の家はないので、飲み物や軽食、日よけの準備は事前に済ませておくのがポイントです。波打ち際での水遊びから砂遊びまで、16時の終了時間までいわきの夏の海をたっぷり満喫しましょう。
Tips
遊泳は無料ですが、海の家がないため飲み物・軽食・タオルなどは持参が必須です。夏の砂浜は熱くなるのでビーチサンダルを。シャワー兼更衣室は2ヶ所のみのため、混雑する時間帯は少し待つこともあります。遊泳時間は16時までなので、着替えの時間を見込んで15時45分ごろには切り上げるのがおすすめです。
Tips
Within walking distance of Namitachi Beach. As it's on high ground, wear comfortable clothing and shoes, especially if using a stroller. Summer sunlight is strong, so don't forget a hat and water.
Best time to visit
Allow about 45 minutes. Stopping by around 10 a.m. before swimming keeps the day flowing smoothly.
