About this spot

A small hall standing on a high promontory jutting into the sea, right beside Hisanohamanoto Namitachi Beach. From the grounds, you can take in a sweeping view of Namitachi Coast's blue sea and rock formations—a perfect vantage point to preview the sea you'll swim in, ideal for the day's introduction. Locally revered as a place watching over sea safety, it's recommended to have the family pay respects for a safe day before heading to the beach. The compact grounds make it easy to stop by even for a short time.

Tips

Within walking distance of Namitachi Beach. As it's on high ground, wear comfortable clothing and shoes, especially if using a stroller. Summer sunlight is strong, so don't forget a hat and water.

Best time to visit

Allow about 45 minutes. Stopping by around 10 a.m. before swimming keeps the day flowing smoothly.
