Namikaze Beach (波崎海水浴場) stretches along the Pacific coast of Kamisu City, Ibaraki Prefecture. In 2026, it will be open from July 18 (Saturday) to August 23 (Sunday). Entrance is free, and approximately 600 free parking spaces are provided, making it convenient for visitors arriving by car. Adjacent facilities include hot showers and barrier-free toilets, allowing families with small children and those using strollers to enjoy their time with confidence. The spacious sandy beach is a location where the whole family can enjoy summer, from water play at the water's edge to building sandcastles.

With about 600 parking spaces, the lot is spacious, but arriving early is recommended on summer weekend holidays. Hot showers and toilets are available at adjacent facilities, so you don't need to worry about changing clothes luggage. The summer sand gets very hot during the day, so don't forget beach sandals. During strong sunlight hours, use beach mats and sun protection.

Best time to visit

Afternoon around 1 PM onward offers plenty of time to enjoy the sea until evening.
