A park located on a highland just after crossing Iohji Bridge, consisting of a white lighthouse and museum building. The original Iohji Lighthouse is known as Japan's second-oldest Western-style lighthouse, and next to the current lighthouse stands a museum introducing the history of that era. From the grassy plaza, you can see the Iohji Bridge and blue sea—a view that heightens anticipation for the beach ahead. With lots of shade, it's relatively comfortable even on a summer morning. A perfect spot for strolling and taking commemorative photos, befitting the start of your day.

長崎市の伊王島にある海水浴場で、2026年は7月11日(土)から8月31日(月)まで9時から18時の開設です。白い砂浜と青く澄んだ海が広がり、コスタ・デル・ソル/アイランドビーチクラブとして更衣室・温水シャワー・コインロッカー・売店が整い、幼児用プールもあるので小さな子ども連れでも安心して過ごせます。遊泳そのものは無料で、アイランドビーチクラブの施設利用は中学生以上600円・小学生300円(3時間)。橋一本で本土とつながる島ならではの開放的な景色の中、波打ち際の水遊びから砂遊びまで夕方まで思いきり楽しめます。

Tips

遊泳時間は9時から18時まで。遊泳は無料ですが、アイランドビーチクラブの施設利用は中学生以上600円・小学生300円(3時間)が目安です。シャワーは温水100円/2分なので小銭を用意しておくと安心。夏の砂浜は熱いのでビーチサンダルが必携です。閉場の18時までに着替えを終えられるよう、17時台には切り上げるのがおすすめです。

Tips

Just a few minutes' walk from the parking lot right after crossing Iohji Bridge. Don't forget your hat and water in summer. The observation area has some stone-paved sections, so pushing a stroller slowly is recommended.
