A beach in Nagasaki City located on Iohji Island. In 2026, it's open from 9 am to 6 pm from July 11 (Saturday) to August 31 (Monday). White sand and clear blue sea spread out, with Costa del Sol/Island Beach Club offering changing rooms, hot showers, coin lockers, and a concession stand, plus a children's pool for small children to enjoy safely. Swimming itself is free, with Island Beach Club facility use at ¥600 for middle school and up, ¥300 for elementary school (3 hours). In the open scenery unique to an island connected to the mainland by a single bridge, enjoy water play at the shore to sandcastle building freely until evening.

Hot showers cost ¥100/2 minutes, so have small coins ready. The summer sand gets hot, so beach sandals are essential. Plan to finish changing by 6 pm closure, so wrap up by 5 pm is recommended.

Best time to visit

The afternoon from 1 pm onwards has plenty of sun, and you can leisurely enjoy the sea until evening including the children's pool.
