Nabuto Beach, in Takuma-cho, Mitoyo City, Kagawa Prefecture, is open from Sunday, July 5 to Monday, August 31 in 2026. Swimming is free, and with changing rooms, showers (100 yen), restrooms, and paid parking (300 yen) all available, it's an easy beach for families to visit without worrying too much about changing clothes or belongings. You can also bring your own tent, letting you relax by the sea while avoiding the strong midday sun. Its calm waves and quiet atmosphere, typical of the Seto Inland Sea, also make it well-suited for small children to play in the water. Take your time in the afternoon and enjoy the sea until evening.

Tips

Swimming is free, but showers cost 100 yen and parking costs 300 yen. Bringing your own tent is allowed, so a pop-up tent for shade makes it easier to stay for a long time. There may not be a shop nearby, so it's a good idea to bring drinks and snacks in advance.

Best time to visit

Arriving around 1pm gives you plenty of time to play in the sea until the evening closing time.
