About this spot
Uradome Beach in Iwami-cho, Tottori Prefecture, opens for the season in 2026 from Friday, July 17 to Sunday, August 16. Nestled in the beautiful rias coastline of the San'in Coast Geopark, this beach is known for its exceptionally clear seawater and white sandy shore. Swimming is free, and beach huts line the sand, offering food, rest areas, and paid hot-water showers (¥200 per 2 minutes). Changing rooms are available when using a beach hut, and coin lockers are also provided, so you can leave your belongings with peace of mind. From playing in the waves at the shoreline to swimming offshore, families can enjoy the summer sea at their own pace. Swim to your heart's content until evening to close out a summer day at the San'in seaside.
