About this spot

Held on Monday, July 20, 2026, the 2026 Misato Fireworks (2026みさと花火) is a festival deeply rooted in the local community. The fireworks launched from Ushikai Okurajo (牛飼御蔵場) spread across the wide-open night sky of the rural area, where little blocks the view. The charm of this festival is being able to watch it in a quiet, open setting, unlike fireworks festivals in urban areas. Enjoy looking up at the fireworks coloring the night sky with your family, amid the warm, homely atmosphere of a local summer festival.

Tips

The event may be cancelled or postponed in case of severe weather, so check Misato Town's official announcement on the day for whether it will be held. As there is little lighting in the area, bringing a flashlight for the way home is a good idea. Roads around the venue get crowded before and after the fireworks, so allow plenty of time to travel.

Best time to visit

Time your visit to the event hours of 19:30-20:15. Be sure to secure your viewing spot before it begins.
