A shallow, calm beach spreading before Okuma Private Beach & Resort. Different from touristy beaches, it offers peaceful atmosphere where you feel you're monopolizing the clear Yanbaru sea and sky. As evening approaches, the sky turns orange—perfect for enjoying early dinner procured from local shops while taking in the view before night events begin. After sunset, the resort location sometimes offers starry skies—a luxury unique to Kunigami Village.
Tips
About 15 minutes by car from Kunigami Village Forest Park. Few restaurants nearby, so arrange dinner early at Michi no Eki Yuiyui Kunigami or resort facilities. Bring insect repellent spray for comfort after dusk.
Best time to visit
Approximately 2 hours. The sea in soft light around sunset is especially recommended.
