About this spot

This facility opened in 1998 to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Bifuka's settlement and serves as a hub for lifelong learning among residents. Besides a culture hall and library, it has a local history room with glass walls on both sides designed to evoke a river boat, displaying materials from the settlement era. On the evening of the festival, spectators begin gathering around the plaza in front of COM100. After spreading out a leisure sheet to secure a spot, gather around the dinner you've picked up and watch the sun set over the quiet townscape along the Teshio River while waiting for the show to begin.

Tips

Since this is an inland area, nights can turn chilly. Don't forget something to wear over your clothes. Also be sure to take insect-repellent measures. Please always take your trash home with you.

About 3 hours 30 minutes needed. Around sunset you can enjoy the sky's changing colors
