An ancient shrine said to have been founded during the Heian Period, revered as the main shrine of Hirano-go. Large camphor trees with centuries-old rings flourish throughout the grounds, and surprisingly quiet and cool air drifts through despite being in the city. Known for its vigorous summer festival with spirited danjiri music, the thick faith of local people is apparent. The spacious grounds are perfect for leisurely strolling and recommended as a place to catch your breath during hot summer afternoons.

About 15 minutes walk from Komokawa Shopping Street. The grounds can be freely visited. In summer, the sun is strong, so walking in tree shade keeps you cool.

About 45 minutes. Early afternoon when shade from camphor trees is comfortable is ideal.
