Flow of the course

About this spot

This is the 48th Chomeigaoka Summer Festival, held from 4:00 PM to 8:30 PM on Saturday, July 25, 2026, in the schoolyard of Chomeigaoka Elementary School (長命ケ丘小学校) in Izumi Ward, Sendai City. In addition to dance performances by children from the community center, junior high and high school brass band music, and Chomei Taiko (長命太鼓) drumming, there will also be guest performances on stage. The grounds will be lined with creatively designed booths and food trucks. Its charm lies in the unpretentious, warm atmosphere of local residents gathering and enjoying themselves together. After a full day of nature walks and downtown shopping, close out the day with a local festival.
