About this spot

This diner, run by local fishermen, sits right by Mizuhashi Fishing Port. Its specialty, the Fisherman's Seafood Rice Bowl, can be enjoyed two ways: first as is, and then with the fisherman's golden broth poured over it, hitsumabushi-style. Made generously with freshly landed seafood, the dishes let the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves. Since the diner gets crowded from evening onward on the day of the fireworks display, filling up here at midday makes it easier to move around later.

Tips

Right by Mizuhashi Station. Parking is limited, so taking the train is recommended. Crowds increase from evening on the day of the fireworks display, so it's safer to visit at midday.
