About this spot

This is a roadside station along the clear Nagara River (長良川), lined with meals and specialty products made from local river blessings such as ayu (sweetfish) and amago trout. The surroundings offer beautiful valley scenery ringed by mountains, letting you feel the clear summer air. It's a great place to stop by at a relaxed pace at the start of your day heading toward the fireworks festival.

Tips

Located along National Route 156, it's convenient to access by car. In summer, it's recommended for the seasonal flavors like ayu dishes that are often available.

About 1 hour. Midday tends to be relatively calm and relaxed.
