Held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, this fireworks festival colors the Hyakken River (百間川), which flows through Naka-ku, Okayama City. From 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., about 300 fireworks shells are launched into the night sky around the Hyakken River Green Space (百間川緑地) (near Kanshita Bridge (神下橋)). The riverbed of the Hyakken River, developed as a floodway for the Asahi River, offers an open, unobstructed view, and this summer festival has continued with a warm, community-driven atmosphere centered on local residents. It's a fitting moment to close a day spent enjoying a historical stroll through a famous garden and castle.
