Held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, this fireworks display brings the summer to a close in Karumai Town, a rural area in northern Iwate Prefecture. From 8:00 PM, fireworks are launched into the night sky from Kobushi Park. Part of the appeal is that the fireworks appear to spread even wider, thanks to the rural setting with few tall buildings nearby. It is a warm, community-rooted moment that fittingly closes a day spent enjoying flowers and local food.
